Sentimental Journey

The weather here in Texas is so touch-n-go. One day we're wearing flip-flops and the next a heavy jacket with gloves. Today our local weather man actually said that we're going to have flurries. To me that means snow that doesn't stick. Either way it's a cold one outside! I just pray that everyones home is nice and warm.

I was so excited yesterday when fumbling through our decorations. I ran across an old ornament that I remember hanging on our tree as a young child. It's a small reindeer made of plastic. I wanted to share this with my sisters. I actually shed a couple tears because I do remember hanging this on the tree. It just brought back old memories of Christmas past. I do believe that this holiday will be one to remember.

So with all that being said, I think I'm going to go make me a hot cup of cocoa and grab a good book to read.

Jesus is the reason for this season!

Awe.. I remember that sissy. I wished I had one of the "old" ornaments. I started a tradition when Linsey was born. Each year I buy an ornament for the tree. Now she picks out her own. Each ornament is to reflect her. I'll post a pic of her latest one.. you'll love it.
